Acclaimed custom homebuilders Jared Sherburne and Mike Marrs, winners of numerous Parade of Homes awards, are renowned for luxurious, distinctive custom homes. Jared's company, Rocky Ridge, and Mike's, The Marrs Company, started working together in 1996 in the beautiful community of Surprise Valley in East Boise. It was such a spectacular success, they decided to bring their talents together to form Sherburne-Marrs.

Rocky Ridge Homes was established in 1998 by founder Jared Sherburne. This family-owned and operated general contracting company has specialized in refined land development, community amenity and accessory construction, new home construction, and complete redesigns and renovations. Rocky Ridge Construction has also successfully developed five new home communities from their inception to completion.
After years in the building industry, Jared ventured out on his own to create quality custom homes that incorporate style, craftsmanship, and a building process that is unparalleled. His overall vision was to create these homes with unrivaled design and an attention to detail that produce fresh and beautiful, bright, well-appointed homes with lasting value in the Treasure Valley.
The concept was simple; “Treat each home as if it were my own”. Rocky Ridge successfully adhered to established budgets and all building schedules and viewed the interaction and involvement of the customer as a fundamental part of the building process. The highest quality of materials and workmanship went into each and every project while maintaining value and cost efficiencies.
Although the market and client needs continue to change, this concept works just as well now, as it has in the past. Each home is continually built with the same quality, attention to detail, and focus on customer satisfaction that started with the first home. Jared's goals have come to fruition as his accomplishments have become recognized and appreciated by so many satisfied clients. With every new project he undertakes, he continues to fulfill the expectations built by an excellent reputation and unsurpassed name in quality.
Michael P. Marrs

Since building his first home in the foothills of Boise in 1977, Mike Marrs and The Marrs Company has been a fixture in the home building scene in the Treasure Valley. His career in the home building industry began in the Washington, D.C. area. His resume includes sales, marketing, design, and management as a Senior V.P. for one of the largest builders in the area. A lifetime member of the NAHB Million Dollar Circle and a recipient of a national award from Professional Builder Magazine, Mike has won design awards in both the D.C. area and in Boise. He is most proud of the excellent reputation he and The Marrs Company have maintained for many decades. Mike is now enjoying retirement but still enjoys consulting the Sherburne-Marrs team on home designs and business philosophies.
